What To Expect

Paperwork

Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete pertinent paperwork, or save some time by completing our intake forms beforehand - Health History and Policies & Procedures.  You may plan on spending an extra 30 minutes for your first visit for paperwork and therapist introduction. (These referenced paperwork PDF’s are under Client Forms)

What to wear

During your appointment your therapist will preferably have you completely disrobe and lie under the covers on the treatment table. This allows for necessary access and exposure to the traumatized area(s). Of course, we work within your comfort level so that you feel safe and secure throughout the entire session.  You will always be appropriately covered during your treatment.

Post-surgical clients will often need assistance undressing and getting on and off the treatment table. We are prepared to assist our clients when necessary to make the experience positive and safe.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa/MC and employee health benefit cards. Package discounts, gift certificates and on-site visits are available.

Insurance

In general, massage therapy is not an insurance covered benefit. However, we have found a few exceptions over the years. Give us a call if you think that your insurance may pay for your Soulstice massage therapy services.

We will bill for these massage therapy services:

  • Worker's Compensation
  • Med Pay (for auto injury)

Tipping

Soulstice provides services that are equivalent to any other healthcare provider. Our therapists are highly-trained professionals and do not solicit or expect tipping from our clients.

Session length

Treatments usually last either 60 or 90 minutes. This gives us the opportunity to provide you with the necessary therapies.  Depending on the reason for your visit, we will additionally offer education, self-massage technique tips and answer any relevant questions that you may have.
